Assisted Employment Pathways Program

Creating real-world employment opportunities for people with disability.

At the core of this initiative is a simple but powerful belief - everyone deserves the chance to thrive through meaningful work.

Led by workforce disability advocate Angela Cochrane, in partnership with Correct Connect, this first of its kind initiative is part of our broader commitment to providing support to break down barriers to employment for people with disability across regional Australia.

Angela is an active member of the Darling Downs Disability Workforce Taskforce, and is passionate about working alongside individuals, families, and service providers to create more inclusive and accessible pathways to employment.

Through a combination of one-on-one support, employer engagement, and community collaboration, we’re working to create real, lasting job opportunities - not just placements, but careers that bring purpose, pride, and connection.

This pilot project is currently being delivered in the Goondiwindi Region in QLD, with a long-term vision is to expand and adapt the model across other regional areas of Australia - helping more people with disability find meaningful work.

Real People. Real Results.

Come back soon to hear and see real world stories of workforce success....

Your Skills Matter. Your Voice Matters. Your Future Matters.
We want to hear from you. Your story is the first step.

What do you love to do? What kind of work lights you up?
Who are you, and what do you dream of?

Let’s explore the possibilities together. Whether you're an NDIS participant or someone who provides support, reach out to start the conversation with us today.
What We Do
What Is Assisted Employment Pathways?

We help NDIS participants build confidence, gain skills, and connect with inclusive employers who value diversity. Whether you're just starting out, returning to the workforce, or looking for a fresh start - we’ll walk alongside you.

Our support includes:
  • One-on-one career planning and goal setting
  • Job-readiness training (resumes, interview skills, workplace expectations)
  • Support to connect with inclusive and disability-aware employers
  • Help navigating supported wages or custom workplace adjustments
  • Advocacy to ensure your workplace is safe and welcoming.

Not Sure If You're Eligible? We Can Help with that too.

We can help you find out if this service is covered under your current NDIS plan, or walk you through how to request a change to your core supports to include employment assistance.

Whether you’re just getting started or need help navigating the system, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Our Approach
Tailored, Respectful, and Outcomes-Focused

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions - because no two people are the same. Our employment pathways are designed to reflect your unique strengths, aspirations, and support needs. Whether you're looking for part-time work, on-the-job experience, or a long-term career path, we meet you where you're at.

We take the time to understand your goals and build a plan that works with your NDIS plan and lifestyle. That means flexible, personalised support - from resume building and interview preparation to workplace readiness and post-placement support.

We work alongside trusted local partners including support coordinators, job coaches, community service providers, and inclusive employers to build opportunities that are not just available, but sustainable and meaningful.

Above all, we’re committed to seeing people with disability thrive in workplaces where they’re valued, supported, and empowered.
For Employers
Want to Become an Inclusive Employer?

We’re proud to partner with forward-thinking businesses that believe in the value of inclusive hiring and want to build diverse, resilient teams.

Hiring a person with disability isn’t just good for the community - it’s good for business.
Inclusive workplaces are known to improve staff morale, retention, and innovation. But we also understand that getting started can feel overwhelming and that’s where we come in.

We provide:
  • Workplace specific guidance to support Disability Employment
  • Practical support with onboarding and workplace adjustments
  • Guidance on wage subsidies, supported wage systems, and NDIS-funded supports
  • Ongoing consultation and check-ins to make sure everyone succeeds
  • Help crafting inclusive job advertisements and recruitment practices
Whether you're a small business or a larger employer, we'll work with you to make the process simple, sustainable, and rewarding - for both you and your new team member.
